Private Ontario Curriculum Support When You Need It Most
Since opening in 2018, York Region Tutoring has maintained a strict, hands-on hiring process that we take seriously. We receive over 1,000 tutor applications every year, and only a small handful make it through. Our tutors stay with us long term, and we prefer it that way. Each year we carefully bring on just a few new faces to join a team that has been built slowly and deliberately over the years.
Every tutor on our roster is personally vetted and hand picked for their deep subject knowledge and a natural ability to break down complex material in ways that actually resonate with students. Beyond reviewing grades and transcripts, every candidate must pass thorough subject testing before their first session. There are no exceptions. This ensures that from day one, your child is working with someone who has already proven they can deliver results.
